CARE ABOUT COTTON
Washing
Sponge clean garment only when necessary. Nowadays, we wash clothes too much, unnecessarily destroying the fabric of the clothes, which leads to its premature destruction. There is no need to wash your clothes after each wear, instead let them ventilate in the open air and don’t put them in the closet right away. It is widely believed that hand washing is the most gentle way to clean clothes, which in many cases can cause more problems than washing our clothes in a washing machine. In the case of hand washing, it is often the case that the detergent may not be evenly distributed in the washing water, which can result in stains and discoloration. Do not leave the garment in the water. The sooner you treat the stain, the easier it will be to remove.
Drying
The most environmentally friendly way is air-drying. Using tumble-dryer prematurely destroys the fabric of the clothes, can lead to fading of the colors and shrinkage of the clothes, and also consumes a lot of energy, which is unnecessarily burdensome for the environment, so we do not recommend using it. When drying in air, it is worth paying attention to the fact that your clothes should be shaped as much as possible in order to avoid distortion of their shape and reduce the formation of creases which helps or even eliminates ironing. Do not dry in direct sunlight as UV light can cause color fading.
Ironing
Do not iron garment. Ironing can risk damaging the fabric, fading the colors and shrinking of your clothes. Do not use ironing on decorations, buckles, eyelets, zippers or buttons.
